D’Slyce is a multicultural, intergenerational group of instrumentalists, vocalists and songwriters. While band members write most songs in the group’s repertoire, D'Slyce also performs traditional and contemporary music from many genres and cultures. D’Slyce concerts raise funds to provide cultural, recreational and arts education programs for young people, particularly those in underprivileged areas.Our concerts and recording projects also provide opportunities for young vocalists and instrumentalists to perform, not only on small stages and at major concert halls, but in the recording studio as well. We provide positive avenues for young people who are otherwise faced with violence and self-destruction.
D'Slyce members come from all walks of life—professional musicians, teachers, business leaders, artisans and many others—who believe in the overall positive power of music and who recognize the impact music can have in making a difference in a child's life.
